Sexually assault seven Spanish tourists in Mexico

Seven Spanish tourists were raped by unknown gunmen in the outskirts of the city of Acapulco in southern Mexico, official sources told Efe.
A source at the Attorney General of the state of Guerrero, where Acapulco is located, said the sexual assault occurred at 3.00 pm (0900 GMT) at Playa Bonfil, east of Acapulco, one of the main resorts of Mexico.
 
The source, who preferred to withhold his identity, said the tourists were surprised by unknown gunmen in a bungalow as they slept. He could not detail how many people made ​​up the group of attackers.
 
He also noted that the authorities have mounted an operation in the area to find those responsible.
Fuentes of the Embassy of Spain in Mexico City were excused from commenting on this report, and sent to Efe Diplomatic Information Office in Madrid, which in turn indicated that the agency was gathering information on the incident.
