Officials of the City of Machu Picchu Pueblo prohibit street vending in the Cuzco district to ensure the free movement of pedestrians in the identified pathways to escape a possible earthquake.
Traders engaged in the sale of corrugated, umbrellas, and other products, on their doorsteps, should leave the way clear for pedestrians, officials added Revenue Area.
Machu Picchu is also under constant observation by Unesco and visitors who come daily to this town take a bad impression to see street, they said.
